SCHOLARSHIPS

The poverty level directly effects the education system in the Philippines. If the family doesn't have money for transportation to school, then the children are forced to drop out.

Student Body

According to statistics…

On the average, only 70% of children will reach the 5th grade. In some provinces, 60% of elementary students drop out after 4th grade. Only 20–25% of elementary students manage to attend high school. Attending college usually remains a dream for the majority.

During our travels to the Philippines the #1 request we receive is to send someone’s child to school.

In 2002, a scholarship program for needy and deserving students that cannot afford to go to school was established. This program completely underwrites the expenses for a potential student to attend college.

Education is a powerful tool. It gives the graduate a better opportunity to secure stable employment, thus breaking a generational poverty cycle for an entire family. For as little as $200 a year, you can give a student a more promising future.
